This page is to update shows news, how they got on and any other information that is new and happening in the Kingtonks household. Each new item of news will be added to the top of the page so you can see it has been updated quicker.

28th July 2007 - The Maine Coon Breed Society had their very first ever show, and what a wonderful day it was. Both Patches and Leia went to the show, and where joined by Saffie & Simba on exhibition. Patches and & Leia both had brilliant day's winning there opens and BOB's. We are so proud of both of them. Patches was more relaxed and it showed in her side classes because she got placed in everyone of them.

23rd June 2007 - What an amazing day!!!! Patches had as reasonable day winning 2 3rd's in side classes, but I know this would be a very difficult show for her competing only against Maine Coons. Oh but what a girl Leia is. She won her open, got Best of Breed and then went on to win Overall Best In Show Female Kitten. We are so proud of her, when she went up to be judge in the Best in Show line up it was a shock, and at first it just did not sink in.

9th June 2007 - Wow what a day. Leia & Patches went to the London Cat Club show. Patches got a 3rd in her open and a 3rd in a side class. But made it known she was not keen on showing any more. So after the next couple of shows I think I will let her stay at home. BUT, OH, Leia, she had a brilliant day. She won her open and got a red card day. Which means she came first in all her classes. But she also got Best of Breed and Best of Variety Semi Longhaired Kitten. We are so proud of her.

31st March 2007 - Leia had her second show today and was just the perfect little lady. She was so well behaved again. She won a 1st in her open, then won the BOB (best of breed) and then a 2nd out of 9 in a side class. We are so proud of her.

17th March 2007 - Leia attended her first show today. She won a 1st in her open and then went on to get 1st out of 3, 3rd out of 9 and 1st out of 6. She was so relaxed and laid back. She took the whole day in her stride.

26th November 2006 - Patches has given birth to 4 kittens, 2 boys and 2 girls. Please see our kitten page for their diary.

25th October 2006 - Patches is due to have her first litter the end of November. We are very much looking forward to their arrival.

23rd May 2006 - A year to the day Kingtonks Amitola Aponi (Patches) was born, Kylie has given us two other wonderful girls.

25th March 2006 - What a day, this was Patches first adult show and what a big open, I just hoped I would get time to speak with her open judge. Well you could of knocked me down with a feather, she got a 2nd in her open and a second in a side glass. Patches looked fabulous to us and I almost cried at how well she did. We are so proud of her and her Mum Kylie.

17th March 2006 - Kylie has gone out to stud with Charlie. Kittens due end of May

11th February 2006 - Patches attended her last show as a kitten today. Another day of strong competition and Patches got a third in her open and a second in a side class. She was looking really stunning.

7th January 2006 - Patches attended her third cat show and came fourth. She had some very strong competition, but still sat up and looked wonderful. I got some brilliant advise on grooming.

10th December 2005 - Patches attended the National Cat club show and did us so very very Proud. Our beautiful girl took it all in her stride and was lovely and relaxed. We had the opportunity to watch her being judged and she was so well behaved and showed an interest in the Judge & Steward. Patches got her 1st in the open.

1st October 2005 - Patches attended her first show at the tender age of 4 months. What a little star she is. She was wonderfully behaved and took the unusual day all in her stride. She was lovely and relaxed, happy to receive all of the attention given to her. Plus she was also awarded 2nd in her open.

September 2005 - Trinity went to stud and had a lovely time with her mate Treacle. Kittens due late October.
